                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       The Michigan Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists was organized on May 31, 1938.  The state society currently consists of two chapters.  The Detroit Chapter  was organized in Detroit, MI on June 4, 1946 and the Coureurs deBois Chapter was organized in Lansing, MI on April 7, 1958.
